The Famous Willows Folk Club meets every Wednesday night in the function room of Arundel Football Club in West Sussex. The Football Club is located in the shadow of Arundel Castle, by the river, and has a picturesque riverside setting.
The lifeblood of the club are the many fine floorsingers who provide such superb music and entertainment at the Willows’ Come All Ye - Open Stage Nights. The Willows is very proud of the standard of talent that these nights are able to attract.
Our Come All Ye nights are also notable for their superb closing jam sessions!
Over the course of its 35-year life, the Willows has been privileged to welcome some of the folk scene’s biggest names to its stage, including appearances in 2006 from Eric Bogle, Allan Taylor and Last Night’s Fun (all pictured above).
The club has also been pleased to showcase some of the folk scene’s rising stars, including Kevin Barber & Mark Taylor and Jon Brindley, both pictured above playing the Willows in 2006.
Whether a guest night or Come All Ye, the Willows is blessed with many loyal supporters, all of whom are guaranteed a good time whenever they visit the club!
